Global Warming

Everyone knows about global warming but not everyone knows about the effects. Global warming affects the whole earth in many different ways. The ecosystems are being destroyed because of the warming temperatures. The negative effects of global warming reveals how ecosystems are being destroyed.

In the first image we see how the polar bear represents a symbol on how their ecosystem is being destroyed because of warming temperatures. The message that that the bears land is being destroyed is also shown because the bear is all alone. By only showing the one bear it conveys that all the other bears have died and this bear is struggling to live because of the temperatures rising and global warming. Another textual element is how the bear looks very large and there is lots of background. This shows how there is lots of water and no ice and on the mountains there is no more snow. This image clearly shows how the negative effects of global warming affect ecosystems.

In this image we can see the contrast of the same image taken at a different time. The contrast shows how global warming is affecting the forests and how major it really is. It shows how the warming is destroying the whole earth. Also the colouring of the image really  conveys the message that warming is affecting the earth in a major way. By looking at how full and colourful the first image is compared to how dull the second image is it shows how the entire forest is destroyed because the lack of water. From this it clearly shows how global warming is affecting our world.

Next in this image we see how the massive glaciers are being destroyed. The textual elements in this image are the symbolism of the falling glacier and how the photographer uses a very large space to show the impact of the glacier melting. The large piece of the glacier symbolizes how the glaciers are melting and how the effects of global warming are vastly impacting the size of the glaciers. The photographer using a large space shows how the glacier has been melting for a while it hasn’t just started recently. The effects of global warming have been affecting the earth for a long time and we are now noticing how much it is effecting the ecosystems in the world. This image shows how the negative effects of global warming affect the ecosystems  significantly.

In the final image the textual elements are how the photographer put the fish in the foreground making the image very powerful. The fish being in the foreground really shows how their ecosystem is being destroyed because of rising river temperatures. Global warming has warmed the water of the fish and now they are dying because of it. Also in the image the use of colour show the fish very clearly and the background not shown at all. The colour of the image also emphasizes how the fish are dying because of global warming. By having the background dark are the fish being very light it shows the dead fish still in the warming water. In conclusion the textual elements all prove how global warming is affecting our earth in a negative way.
